Abstract

The frequency of ship visits in the ports of the Kalimantan Tengah region rose 6.02 percent, from 631 visits (June 2019) to 669 (July 2019). The number of passengers via sea transportation decreased by 39.98 percent, from 81,129 people (June 2019) to 49,508 people (July 2019).
  • The flow of goods traffic by sea rose by 19.47 percent from 1.13 million tons (June 2019) to 1.35 million tons (July 2019).
  • Ship passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai (59.76 percent), while the volume of freight flows in Sampit (51.00 percent).
  • The frequency of flights rose 1.04 percent, from 1,914 flights (June 2019) to 1,934 flights (July 2019). The decrease in flight frequency occurred at H. Asan Airport (Sampit) by 62 flights.
  • The number of passenger activities via air transportation decreased 1.44 percent, from 156,464 people (June 2019) to 154,213 people (July 2019).
  • The flow of goods traffic through the air also fell 8.76 percent, from 1,712 tons (June 2019) to 1,562 tons (July 2019).
  • Tjilik Riwut Airport dominates passenger activity services (49.80 percent) and the volume of goods flow (53.14 percent).
