BPS RI Visit to Food Estate Location in Belanti Siam Village, Pulang Pisau

Wednesday, June 22 2022, BPS Kab. Pulang Pisau received a visit from the Main Expert Statistician of BPS RI, Hermanto. His arrival this time was to see the location of the Food Estate in Belanti Siam Village, Kec. Pandih Batu, Pulang Pisau and supervised the Updating of the Directory of Agricultural Companies and Other Agricultural Businesses (DPP-UTL). The DPP-UTL activity is a series of preparations for BPS' big goal in 2023, namely the 2023 Agricultural Census.

During his visit to the Food Estate area, Hermanto took the time to discuss with rice farmers in Belanti Siam Village and see duck cultivation not far from the place. Next, Hermanto and his entourage visited PT Menteng Kencana Mas, which was one of the samples in the DPP-UTL Updating and also other surveys that BPS conducted.

Hermanto expressed his gratitude for all the cooperation and the data that has been submitted to BPS. The data is very important to describe the economy in a region in aggregate.
