Visit of the Acting Regent of Pulang Pisau

Wednesday (17/01/2024), the BPS Pulang Pisau Office received a visit from the Acting Regent of Pulang Pisau, Nunu Andriani. The Head of BPS Pulang Pisau Regency, Oo Suharto, directly welcomed the arrival of the Acting Regent with his entourage, which consisted of several OPD Heads within the Pulang Pisau regional government.

This activity began with the introduction of the Integrated Statistical Services (PST) room which functions for consultation services and/or data requests as well as a library room for many publications from BPS. After that, the group entered the BPS Hall together. In this place, further discussion and coordination regarding data and statistics. Head of Bapperida Pulang Pisau Regency, Bakhzar Efendi, was the moderator for this session.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS Pulang Pisau Regency, Oo Suharto, conveyed several developments in macro indicators that had been issued by BPS. Continuing this, the Acting Regent, Nunu Andriani, explained to everyone that data is very important for future development and for this reason there is a need for coordination regarding the policies carried out so that they are right on target. The heads of OPD and their representatives also expressed the need for coordination with BPS, especially regarding existing data.

This activity also included a discussion about the poverty rate which is increasingly becoming a concern, both in the central and regional governments. It is hoped that discussion and coordination regarding various data and statistics can provide new understanding so that future policies can be better organized
