July 2024: The number of air transportation passengers during July 2024 increased by 11.52 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers increased by 6.74 percent compared to June 2024

Abstract

Flight frequency in July 2024 increased by 6.12 percent compared to June 2024, from 1,161 flights to 1,232 flights.

The number of air transportation passengers increased by 11.52 percent, from 115,778 people (June 2024) to 129,116 people (July 2024).

Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 12.19 percent, from 2,002 tons (June 2024) to 2,246 tons (July 2024).

During July 2024, air passenger activity (54.54 percent) and goods flow (74.04 percent) are concentrated at Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport.

The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 5.81 percent, from 757 visits (June 2024) to 713 visits (July 2024).

The number of sea transportation passengers increased by 6.74 percent, from 48,974 people (June 2024) to 52,276 people (July 2024).

Traffic of goods using sea transportation decreased by 11.36 percent, from 1.77 million tonnes (June 2024) to 1.57 million tonnes (July 2024).

During July 2024, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (77.89 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (49.18 percent).
