June 2021: The number of sea and air transportation passengers compared to May 2021, increased by 115.56% and 119.12%, respectively.

Abstract

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased 8.30 percent, from 699 visits (May 2021) to 757 visits (June 2021).

The number of sea transport passengers increased by 115.56 percent, from 15,553 people (May 2021) to 33,526 people (June 2021).

Freight traffic using sea transportation increased by 14.94 percent, from 1.42 million tons (May 2021) to 1.64 million tons (June 2021).

Sea transportation passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (71.95 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (49.51 percent).

Flight frequency increased by 88.19 percent, from 703 flights (May 2021) to 1,323 flights (June 2021).

The number of air transport passengers rose 119.12 percent, from 42,648 people (May 2021) to 93,450 people (June 2021).

Freight traffic using air transportation rose 68.52 percent, from 613 tons (May 2021) to 1,033 tons (June 2021).
