December 2020, Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance was a surplus of US $ 186.17 million

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in December 2020 reached US $ 189.18 million, up 24.32 percent compared to November 2020 and down 12.33 percent compared to December 2019.

Coal, palm oil and metal ores (zinc, lead and zirconium) were the main export commodities of Central Kalimantan Province during December 2020.

China, Japan and Malaysia were the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during December 2020.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value decreased by 15.88 percent, from US $ 2,168.36 million (January-December 2019) to US $ 1,823.98 million (January-December 2020).

Kalimantan Tengah's import value during December 2020 reached US $ 3.01 million, up 90.51 percent compared to November 2020 and up 11.07 percent compared to December 2019.

Cumulatively, the import value decreased by 52.31 percent from US $ 68.96 million (January-December 2019) to US $ 32.89 million (January-December 2020).

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 186.17 million in December 2020 and US $ 1,791.09 million in the January-December 2020 period.
