Abstract

The total export value increased by 37.85 percent from US $ 132.12 million (June 2020) to US $ 182.12 million (July 2020).

Jewelry / gems exports increased 269.01 percent with an export value of US $ 47.96 million.

The export value to Japan was in the first place, shifting China with the export value during January-July 2020 reaching US $ 371.67 million.

The contribution of export transportation services through ports in Central Kalimantan reached US $ 42.99 million, lower than the contribution of ports in other provinces of US $ 139.13 million.

Cumulatively, the total export value decreased by 23.49 percent, from US $ 1,488.57 million (January-July 2019) to US $ 1,135.04 million (January-July 2020).

The total import value increased by 104.11 percent from US $ 1.46 million (June 2020) to US $ 2.98 million (July 2020). Cumulatively, the import value decreased by 53.97 percent from US $ 37.87 million (January-July 2019) to only US $ 17.43 million (January-July 2020).

The foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 179.14 million (July 2020) and US $ 1,117.61 million (January-July 2020).
