November 2019 ROR for star hotels by 58.46%, down 2.22 points

Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels rose 0.71 percent, from 26,105 people (October 2019) to 26,291 people (November 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also rose 5.67 percent, from 58,686 people (October 2019) to 62,011 people (November 2019).

Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.44 percent, from 250,469 people (January-November 2018) to 261,581 people (January-November 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels dropped by 7.48 percent, from 663,311 people (January-November 2018) to 613,702 people (January-November 2019).

Room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels fell 2.22 points, from 60.68 percent (October 2019) to 58.46 percent (November 2019). In contrast, the ROR for non-star hotels rose 2.48 points, from 22.00 percent (October 2019) to 24.48 percent (November 2019).

The average length of stay (RLTM) in star hotels (1.48 days), longer than those in non-star hotels (1.21 days).
