Abstract

The total value of exports rose 5.26 percent from US $ 217.86 million (January 2019) to US $ 229.32 million (February 2019).

Mineral fuels are still the main export commodity (US $ 137.86 million), contributing 60.12 percent of total exports.

Japan is the main trade partner country for export destinations (US $ 71.12 million), contributing 31.01 percent of total exports.

Kumai Port dominates Kalimantan Tengah's export commodity load service (US $ 24.64 million), contributing 10.74 percent of total exports.

Cumulatively, the total value of exports rose 28.37 percent from US $ 348.34 million (January-February 2018) to US $ 447.18 million (January-February 2019).

The total value of imports rose 34.34 percent from US $ 7.60 million (January 2019) to US $ 10.21 million (February 2019). Cumulatively, it jumped by 90.69 percent from US $ 9.34 million (January-February 2018) to US $ 17.81 million (January-February 2019).

The foreign trade balance was a surplus of US $ 219.11 million (February 2019) and US $ 429.37 million (January-February 2019).
