Commemoration Ceremony of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia

On Monday, August 17, 2026, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pulang Pisau Regency held a solemn and vibrant Commemoration Ceremony for the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Carrying the national theme “A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia,” the ceremony was attended by all BPS Pulang Pisau Regency employees, as well as participants of the Ministry of Manpower’s National Internship Program and students undertaking internships from SMK 1 Kahayan Hilir.

This year’s ceremony was particularly special and colorful as all participants wore a variety of traditional Indonesian attire. The diversity of traditional clothing displayed harmoniously in the office courtyard reflected the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) and demonstrated appreciation for the richness of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.

The commemoration of the 81st anniversary of Indonesia’s independence further strengthened the commitment of the statistical community in Pulang Pisau to continue making meaningful contributions by providing accurate and high-quality data to support Indonesia’s progress. The spirit of togetherness among employees and young internship participants serves as a positive source of energy to move forward together toward a more sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.

Happy 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia!
