In the current era of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Data Revolution, Big Data, and Nawacita, information about development achievements has become the main data source for stakeholders in planning sustainable national development. Statistical indicators are one of the benchmarks used by ministries/institutions and various other parties for planning, monitoring, evaluating and measuring accountability for development and community welfare. However, the variety of data available for the same statistical indicator often makes it difficult for data users to choose which data to use.

Currently, the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is the mainstay in meeting the government's needs to implement national development in accordance with the 2020-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) as well as international development goals (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs). This survey was collected by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to provide an overview of development progress in the social and economic fields of society. This depiction must be accurate and trustworthy to the public at large.

In September 2024, BPS will organize the Socio-Cultural and Educational Module Susenas (MSBP). One of the stages carried out is updating households in the sample census blocks which will be carried out on 11-15 September 2024. We hope that by implementing this survey, we can produce quality data for development.
