SAKERNAS OFFICER TRAINING AUGUST 2024

In the middle of this year, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pulang Pisau Regency is carrying out training activities for prospective National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) officers for implementation in August 2024. The training will be held on 21-22 July 2024 at the Luwansa Palangka Raya Hotel.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS for Central Kalimantan Province, Agnes Widiastuti, and the Head of BPS for Pulang Pisau Regency, Oo Suharto, were also present at the opening of this officer training. In her speech, Agnes emphasized the importance of the data produced from SAKERNAS this time.

The total number of officers trained was 27 people, with 18 as field data collectors and 9 as field inspectors. SAKERNAS is one of the important surveys routinely carried out by BPS to photograph the characteristics of the workforce in a region, which this year was carried out using the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) method.

Hopefully the implementation of this training can provide many benefits for officers to obtain quality data and information for regional development.
