Training for Officers in Updating Business Directories/Economic Companies in 2024 in preparation for the 2026 Economic Census was held for two days 27-28 June 2024 using the combined learning method, with field implementation on 1-31 July 2024

BPS built the Statistical Business Register (SBR) as a framework for business-based surveys and for compiling business demographics. SBR data sources come from updating directories/feedback surveys/BPS census, K/L administrative data, profiling, ground checks and so on.

With the implementation of this updating, it is hoped that the quality of the Statistical Business Register (SBR) data can be improved in providing the latest business/company database for preparing the master framework for economic surveys and business unit statistical data.
