This
activity was held in the context of developing statistical data to finalize the
fulfillment of supporting evidence for the 2024 EPSS which was held on Monday,
April 29 2024 in the BAPPERIDA Mini Hall, Pulang Pisau Regency. This event was
held thanks to support from the regional government, and the collaboration of
the organizers of One Data Indonesia at Regency Level, namely Bapperida as
secretariat, Diskominfostandi as data custodian, and the Pulang Pisau Regency
Central Statistics Agency as Statistical Data Supervisor.
This
EPSS activity is regulated in Central Statistics Agency Regulation number 3 of
2022 which explains that EPSS is a systematic assessment process through
verification and validation of information on the results of independent
assessments to measure the level of maturity in implementing Sectoral
Statistics. For this year, there are 2 (two) OPDs designated as locus samples,
namely the Agriculture Service and the Pulang Pisau Regency Food Security
Service.
EPSS
itself aims to measure progress in the implementation of Sectoral Statistics in
Central Agencies and Regional Governments, improve the quality of
implementation of Sectoral Statistics in Central Agencies and Regional
Governments, and improve the quality of public services in the field of
statistics in Central Agencies and Regional Governments.
The
outcomes to be achieved in this EPSS activity include that with EPSS quality
statistics will be obtained to increase public trust; Utilization of data for
policy making and measuring the success of national development; and
Utilization of data by society, academics, the private sector and international
institutions, to be able to contribute to national development.
