SAKERNAS DATA COLLECTION FEBRUARY 2024

Employment is an important aspect of life and development. For most people, work means continuing life. For the government, development in the employment sector will advance the region.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) routinely collects data from the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) every year. In February 2024, SAKERNAS will be held again. What is different is that this time the data collection was carried out using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) or the data collection did not use a printed questionnaire, so it could speed up the processing process.

SAKERNAS will produce various indicators regarding employment, such as the number of workers, Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), and so on. Hopefully this activity can run smoothly and provide quality data for future development.
