Data and statistics are one of the important elements in development, including as material for planning, implementation, and also for performance evaluation. The availability of accurate and up-to-date data is important in terms of regional development. For this reason, BPS Pulang Pisau Regency together with the local government and all agencies in Pulang Pisau Regency on February 8 2023 conducted a Focus Group Discussion on Pulang Pisau Regency in Figures 2023.
The discussion of this data serves as the basis for the publication of the Pulang Pisau Regency in Figures publication. Taking place at Wata Coffee, the event began with remarks by the Head of BPS Pulang Pisau Regency, Oo Suharto, and was then opened by the Head of the Pulang Pisau Regency Information, Coding, and Statistics Communication Service, who on this occasion was represented by the Service Secretary, Lisa Natratilova. This activity was also integrated with the development of sectoral statistics by BPS Pulang Pisau Regency to all invitees regarding the importance of data and statistics for regional development.
The event then continued with a discussion of the data that would be displayed in the Pulang Pisau Regency publication in Figures 2023. This was intended so that the data released from OPD, agencies and institutions was of higher quality and could be accounted for.
Hopefully with this activity, data and statistics will continue to be a compass for the direction of development in various sectors. On the other hand, the public or outsiders can also be assisted in seeing Bumi Handep Hapakat through statistical publications that will be available later.
