On Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the BPS Hall of Pulang Pisau Regency, the declaration of the Beautiful Village (Cinta Statistik) for the Bereng Village was carried out. The event was attended by the Head of the Culture and Tourism Office of Pulang Pisau Regency, the Secretary and Head of Division from the Regional Development Planning Agency, Research and Development of Pulang Pisau Regency, representatives of the Communications and Information Technology, Encryption and Statistics Office, representatives of the Community and Village Empowerment Service, the Secretary of the Kahayan Sub-district. Beautiful Village/Kelurahan is a program to improve the competence of village/kelurahan apparatus in managing and utilizing data so that village/kelurahan development planning can be more targeted. Currently, the village/kelurahan is no longer considered only as an object of development, but as the subject and spearhead of development in improving the welfare of the community. BPS as the leading sector in statistical development has an important role in improving the management, utilization and literacy of data at the village/kelurahan level in order to create complete and accurate data.
This launching activity was inaugurated by the Head of the Culture and Tourism Office of Pulang Pisau Regency, Bakhzar Efendi, S.E., M.Sc. He said that the existence of this beautiful village/kelurahan program was a good starting point to utilize data at the village/kelurahan level as optimally as possible.
This activity was closed with guidance on sectoral statistics related to the practice and management of computer data. This guidance was carried out by Aulia Fadyati Amini, SST as a Young Expert Computer Institution at BPS Pulang Pisau Regency. He explained how to manage the data collected by each agency in an easy way, such as by using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. It is hoped that this socialization can be practiced in their respective agencies so that the management of their data can be better organized.
